În data de 24 august 2015 a fost dat publicității Raportul anual 2014-2015 privind implementarea Mecanismului Financiar Norvegian 2009-2014 și Mecanismului Financiar SEE 2009-2014 în care sunt menționate obiectivele urmărite și rezultatele atinse în cadrul programelor implementate de 16 state beneficiare din Europa, inclusiv România.

Raportul consemnează ca principală realizare la nivel național, dintr-un număr de 22 de programe finanțate prin cele două instrumente anterior menționare, rezultatele atinse în cadrul programului RO24 „Întărirea capacității judiciare și cooperare” gestionat de Ministerul Justiției ca Operator de Program prin proiectul „Întărirea capacității sistemului judiciar românesc de a răspunde provocărilor noilor schimbări legislative și instituționale”.

Având ca promotor Consiliul Superior al Magistraturii (CSM), împreună cu Institutul Național al Magistraturii și Școala Națională de Grefieri, iar ca parteneri internaționali Administrația Instanțelor din Norvegia si Consiliul Europei, proiectul reconfirmă prin rezultatele consemnate (formarea a 2.696 de specialiști în domeniu) interesul constant al sistemului judiciar în creșterea calității actului de justiție, inclusiv prin formarea magistraților și a personalului auxiliar pe teme de interes actual, precum aplicarea noilor coduri juridice sau aplicarea prevederilor Convenției Europene a Drepturilor Omului.

Ministerul Justiției, în calitate de Operator de program, va sprijini în continuare instituțiile partenere în implementarea proiectului în vederea atingerii indicatorilor precum și pentru finanțarea inițiativelor adiacente în sfera relațiilor bilaterale româno-norvegiene menite să contribuie la schimbul de bune practici la nivel de experți.

Press release regarding the 2014-2015 Annual Report on the implementation of EEA and Norway grants

The 2014-2015 Annual Report on the implementation of the EEA and Norway grants was published on the 24th of August 2015. It provides an overview of the aims and achievements of the operational programmes, funded by the said grants, and implemented in 16 European countries, including Romania.

The report underlines as a main accomplishment at national level, out of 22 operational programmes financed by the above-mentioned instruments, the results achieved in the framework of the RO 24 Programme “Judicial Capacity-building and Cooperation” managed by the Romanian Ministry of Justice as Programme Operator through the “Strengthening the capacity of the Romanian judicial system to face new legislative and institutional challenges” project.

Having the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) together with the National Institute of Magistracy and the National School of Clerks as project promoters, and the Norwegian Court Administration and the Council of Europe, as international partners, the project reconfirms through the results obtained, namely the training of 2.696 of specialists, the continuous interest of the Judiciary for the increase in the quality of the act of justice, including by the specialized training of the representatives of the legal professions and court staff on topics of high interest such as the new Romanian civil, criminal and procedural codes and the enforcement of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The Romanian Ministry of Justice, as Programme Operator, will continue to support the partner institutions with the project implementation in order to achieve the envisaged results. Additional initiatives of the project promoters meant to contribute to the exchange of best practice between the Romanian and Norwegian experts will also be funded.
