Ministerul Justiției organizează în data de 14 februarie 2014, la București, conferința de lansare a celor trei programe pe care le gestionează în calitate de Operator de Program, respectiv RO 20 „Violență domestică și violență bazată pe deosebirea de sex”, RO 23 „Servicii corecționale, inclusiv sancțiuni non-privative de libertate” și RO 24 „Întărirea capacității judiciare și cooperare”.

La conferință vor participa doamna dr. Simona-Maya Teodoroiu, Secretar de Stat în Ministerul Justiției din România, dl. Vidar Brein-Karlsen, Secretar de Stat în Ministerul Justiției și al Securității Publice din Norvegia, Excelența Sa Ambasadorul Regatului Norvegiei la București, dna. Tove Bruvik Westberg, oficiali ai Ministerului Fondurilor Europene și ai Ministerului Finanțelor Publice, reprezentanți ai Ambasadei Regatului Norvegiei la București, ai partenerilor donori de program – Directoratul Poliției Norvegiene, Consiliul Europei, Serviciile Corecționale Norvegiene, reprezentanți ai promotorilor de proiect precum și ai partenerilor de proiect.

Programul RO 20 „Violență domestică și violență bazată pe deosebirea de sex” are drept obiectiv reducerea fenomenului violenței  domestice și sprijinirea victimelor traficului de persoane.

Programul RO 23 „Servicii corecționale, inclusiv sancțiuni non-privative de libertate” are drept obiectiv consolidarea capacității administrative a sistemelor penitenciar și de probațiune din România, precum și îmbunătățirea condițiilor de detenție si de executare a pedepselor neprivative de libertate.

Programul RO 24 „Întărirea capacității judiciare și cooperare” are drept obiectiv dezvoltarea capacității instituțiilor din cadrul sistemului judiciar din România în contextul intrării în vigoare a noilor coduri juridice precum și îmbunătățirea accesului cetățenilor la justiție.

Launching Of The Programmes Financed Within The Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 For Which The Romanian Ministry Of Justice Is Programme Operator

The Romanian Ministry of Justice organizes on 14th of February 2014 in Bucharest, the launching conference of three programmes it manages in capacity of Programme Operator RO20 “Domestic and Gender-based Violence”, RO23 “Correctional Services, including Non-custodial Sanctions” and RO24 “Judicial Capacity-building and Cooperation”.

The conference will be attended by Mrs. Simona-Maya Teodoroiu, Secretary of State within the Romanian Ministry of Justice, Mr. Vidar Brein-Karlsen, Secretary of State within the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Public Security, Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Bucharest, Mrs. Tove Bruvik Westberg, officials of the Ministry of European Funds and the Ministry of Public Finances, representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Bucharest, of the donor programme partners - the Norwegian Police Directorate, the Council of Europe, the Norwegian Correctional Services, representatives of the project promoters and of the project partners.

The objective of the Programme RO20 “Domestic and Gender-based Violence” is to reduce the gender-based violence in Romania and support the victims of trafficking in human beings.

Programme RO23 “Correctional Services, including Non-custodial Sanctions” aims at strengthening the administrative capacity of the Romanian penitentiary and probation systems, as well as at improving the detention conditions as well as the enforcement of non-custodial sanctions.

The objective of the Programme RO24 “Judicial Capacity-building and Cooperation” is to develop the capacity of the institutions within the Romanian judicial system in relation to the enforcement of the new judicial codes as well as to improve the citizens’ access to justice.
